7 Days

It's now 7 days since Pete's accident. His condition is still 'critical but stable coma' .

He had some more of his friends visit him today.

I've been reading up on coma patients and they say that when in a coma they lead a parellel life, so maybe Pete is having an excellent adventure.

If anyone would like to read books to him , I know he is a big fan of Lord of the Ring's and Terry Pratchet books. I'm going to look in my local library for some 'talking books' cd's.

dear caz.. really so many thanx for getting this together... addenbrooks are making out that they aren't allowed to give out information due to family restrictions or something.. obviously not true.. if you knew how much of a brilliant bloke rabbit is without a bad bone in his body (a bit too hairy and not so bony but...) I still cant believe its happened to him... he had stopped drinking and he knew that his bike wasn't in the top ten safety wise.. apparently a couple of cans of beer went to his head because his tolerance was so low and his back tyre was a bit knackered... he was so bloody pernickity (i dont know the right word)nobody can actually believe he took it out on the road.. one of them things... and he is one of the best of the people i can honestly be proud to say was a good mate.100%trustworthy and trusting. honest and honourable and as long as you dont ask about the war (any war) really really cool.. hope you aren't worrying about his outcome.. he's got friends in high places and he always knows the bouncers.. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxmxxxxxxxxx
